New Friends!

Look, I have new friends... meet Colin and Eveline!

They are into super neat things... Comic-Con, model trains, and anything built with a glue gun. 

Colin makes his own jean shorts... and Evie can speak a mean Scottish accent!

Blog change...

So, my plan is to update each month with the things that have happened.

I always wonder how long ago something happened... at least this way I can try to add some organization to our wonderful crazy lives. : )

Happy 4th of July!

No running today, but lots of sweating... Hot hot day and was outside enjoying it! 

When we were inside we had other things to keep our mind off the heat.  This is Allison enjoying some ice cream and Carrie's awesome flag cake!

In an effort to drop a few pounds, pray more and fast I am giving up beer, not purchasing food for lunch (brown bag only) and running everyday of July.

I can not believe a year has passed already!  You are such a blessing!

2011 Christmas tree

The day after Thanksgiving we were able to get out to Hozack farms again for out u-cut tree. It did not take us too long before we found a few good choices.

In the end we found it was hard to resist the tree with a birds nest in it... This is the same thing we found last year so we stuck with the tradition and brought it home.
